Public organisations have a moral obligation to work towards maximising shareholder value. This is, or at least can be, at odds with the public good. B Corporations or other models of social purpose corporation aim to ensure that public good is at least given equal sway in decision making.

What would the outcome be of a news organisation adopting the tenants of a B Corporation?
